I got the A7iii, and I have the Latest and greatest LRCC version 7.3.1 and my iMac is at 10.13.1 So both are to the latest software that Im aware of. I went out to a Sony promotion to play with some of the new lenses and shoot their scenes. My RAW files are absolutely AWFUL!!! There is so much noise in these images, you would swear i was shooting with an ancient camera. Yes the noise reduction cleaned it up. But for comparison, I downloaded Sony's RAW Converter and the image were almost clean. Seems the Camera profile is way off on this UpDate. Will there be improvements? And to the person that said that Sony doesn't pre-release their cameras, Yes they do. There have been teaser videos from Sony's ambassadors for at least a month before the release. I see there are a couple of posts that LRM version 2.2 allows for full res output. Well Im on version 3.1 and I still have this issue. My Workflow is as follows. Import RAW files off SD card into LR Classic CC on desktop.Select RAW files to edit, and move them to a collection folder to sync with LRM on my iPad Pro. Go Into LRM do my global edits needed. Hit the share button and sent to Edit in PS FIX app to remove blemishes (This brings up a pop up giving me the option of selecting a small 2048px export, or Maximum Allowable. I always select maximum allowable. Perform my blemish edits in PS Fix, and click Save to Lightroom. Where PS Fix ads an edited image as a PNG file, that is Maximum size of 2mb sometimes 1mb. The files get synced back to the desktop. I go to view the files, and when you click on the image to view 100% they are all pixelated. I exported the images from LR Classic CC on the desk top to jpg, and find the files are only 1-2 mb. Which are fine if they are only going to be used on Instagram or Facebook. But for printing this is completely unacceptable. Think is the main reason I bought the iPad Pro, is so I can use the Apple Pencil to edit my images, its extremely fast.
